1. Who we are

Rest+Rise is operated by Tom Murton in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@restrise.health.

2. Accepting these terms

By using Rest+Rise, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your country. If you use Rest+Rise for someone else, you must have authority to accept these terms for them.

3. A general wellness service

Rest+Rise provides general wellness routines, information and reflections. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Evidence grades describe the available research; they do not guarantee a result for any individual.

Consider your health, environment and ability before beginning a ritual. Follow any ritual-specific safety guidance. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, distress or other concerning symptoms, and seek appropriate professional help. Do not use Rest+Rise as a substitute for urgent or professional care.

4. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping access to your account secure and telling us promptly about suspected unauthorised use. You may not misuse another person's account or attempt to bypass security or subscription controls.

You can delete your account in Settings. Deletion is permanent and does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

5. Free features and Insights

Rest+Rise includes a free core experience, including creating and using your own custom rituals. Insights is an optional paid subscription that adds a weekly Sunday Brief, personalised patterns when there is enough evidence, adaptive swaps and recommendations, and history export. Features may evolve, provided we do not remove paid access in a way that conflicts with applicable consumer law.

Monthly and annual plans are offered through Apple and Google. Current regional price, billing period and trial eligibility are displayed by the store before purchase.

6. Trials, renewal and cancellation

A 7-day free trial may be available to eligible customers. One trial is available per customer across Rest+Rise. Eligibility is determined using store and purchase history and is not guaranteed.

Unless the store states otherwise, an Insights subscription renews automatically and the store charges your chosen payment method at the price shown for the next period. Cancel through your Apple or Google subscription settings before renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.

7. Payments and refunds

Apple or Google processes your purchase, payment and refund request under its applicable terms. Rest+Rise does not receive your complete payment-card details. Any statutory refund or cancellation rights you have are not limited by these terms.

8. AI-generated Insights

Some Insights wording is generated with an AI service using derived information from your recent Rest+Rise sessions. AI-generated content can be incomplete, repetitive or wrong. Treat it as a prompt for personal reflection, not a factual assessment, diagnosis or professional recommendation. You remain responsible for decisions based on it.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Rest+Rise unlawfully or to harm another person.
• Probe, disrupt, overload or attempt unauthorised access to the service or another account.
• Copy, resell, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Upload malicious code or use automated systems in a way that interferes with normal operation.

10. Ownership and your content

Rest+Rise, its design, software and included content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property law. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service under these terms.

You keep ownership of information you enter. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display it to operate and improve the service as explained in the privacy policy.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Rest+Rise reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, store review, network failures or third-party services may interrupt access. Saved sessions may work offline, but account syncing, Insights, purchases and some other features require internet access.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, investigate abuse or address a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a chance to resolve the issue.

13. Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rest+Rise is provided for personal general-wellness use, and we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these terms or that result from misuse, ignored safety guidance, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you also retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law of your home country.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when Rest+Rise or applicable law changes. We will post the revised version here and provide additional notice where a material change requires it. Questions can be sent to support@restrise.health.
